Suzuki Unveil Three New Models For 2008
Suzuki unveiled no-less than three new models to European press at the Paris Motorcycle Show, with the introduction of the new 2008 GSX-R600, 750 and DR125SM.
With European press converged on the French capital, Suzuki revealed their final 2008 models at the Paris Expo Carrousel du Louvre, with a press conference to launch their new GSX-R supersport contenders, adding a twist with the all-new learner-legal DR125SM.
GSX-R600
Thanks to constant technological advances, the new 2008 GSX-R600 promises to be Suzuki’s finest 600cc machine ever. Offering more power, advanced electronics and compact chassis and engine attributes, Suzuki’s championship winning supersport formula looks set to move the class on once more in 2008.
Carrying the most powerful, most efficient 600cc four-cylinder, four stroke production motorcycle engine ever built by Suzuki, the new GSX-R600 is set to pack a solid punch as it bursts onto the scene in 2008.
GSX-R750
Following in the footsteps of its smaller sibling, the 2008 GSX-R750 continues to offer the true race-replica experience. Now featuring the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, the new 750 features the very latest technology in a capacity class admired by the purists.
Featuring a powerful digital engine management system, based on a 32-bit processor, the 2008 GSX-R750 manages to combine 20-years of purebred race heritage, with the very latest developments in performance adjustability.
DR125SM
In the hotly contested entry-level 125cc class, Suzuki brings the all-new DR125SM. Featuring extreme supermoto styling, the new entry-level machine offers great looks, with solid performance thanks to its fuel injected 124cc single cylinder, 4-stroke engine.
Delivering responsive power and good fuel efficiency, Suzuki’s latest learner legal machine offers a great specification, thanks to its 16-bit ROM microcomputer, all-round disc brakes and real-world supermoto feel.
Suzuki’s 2008 models will make their UK debut at the International Motorcycle & Scooter Show at the NEC in Birmingham from 23rd November to 2nd December 2007.
